BHU UET 2019

The Banaras Hindu University will conduct admission to various undergraduate courses through its Undergraduate Entrance Test.  BHU UET 2019 will be conducted on February 10. Admission to BA, BSc and BCom courses are done through BHU UET. 

BHU UET will be held from May 12 to 15, 2019, across 115 centres in India for the computer based exam and 45 cities for the offline exam. Admissions to BHU will be decided on the basis of merit in the entrance test, subject to fulfillment of eligibility requirements and the number of seats available in the course applied and appeared for. 

Eligibility Criteria for BHU UG 2019 


Candidates are required to carefully go through all the requirements before proceeding on the application form. The eligibility criteria for all the courses is listed below:

B.A (Hons.) Arts

a. The candidate should have secured a minimum aggregate of 50% in 10 2 or equivalent examinations.

B.A. (Hons.) Social Sciences

a. The candidate should have secured a minimum aggregate of 50% in 10 2 or equivalent examinations. For B.A. (Hons.) Economics, the candidate should have mathematics as their subject in HSC examinations.

B.Com. (Hons.)/ B.Com. (Hons.) Financial Markets Management

a. The candidate should have secured a minimum aggregate of 50% in 10 plus 2 or equivalent examinations with commerce/ economics/ mathematics/ finance/financial markets management/computer science/vocational courses as one of the subjects. The candidate should have passed in the listed subjects to be eligible.

B. Sc. (Hons.) Maths Group

a. The candidate should have secured in 10 plus 2 or equivalent examinations a minimum aggregate of 50% of subjects physics, mathematics, and any one of the following subjects: Chemistry, Statistics, Geology, Computer Science, Information Technology and Geography. The candidate must have passed in all the three subjects.

B. Sc. (Hons.) Bio Group

a. The candidate should have secured in 10 2 or equivalent examinations a minimum aggregate of 50% of subjects physics, chemistry, and any one of the following subjects: Biology, Geology, and Geography. The candidate must have passed in all the three subjects.

Age Limit

The candidate should not be more than 22 years as on 1 July 2019. Ideally, his/her DOB should fall on or after 1 July 1997.

The results of Entrance Tests under UET 2019 would be declared between 15th and 20th June 2019. Candidates are advised to visit www.bhuonline.in only for Entrance Test results.

BHU UET 2019 Exam Centers

BHU UET exam conducted in both online and offline mode. While filling up the online application form the applicants shall have to opt either the Pen-Paper Mode or the CBT mode. Option once exercised shall be final; no change under any circumstances shall be permitted.

BHU UET 2019 Exam Pattern

The entrance will be an offline pen and paper based test. All the questions will be of MCQ type. The questions pattern will be same for all the courses but the number of questions and allotment of time will vary. However, the maximum time limit set for the entrance is 2 hours. All the courses will contain 450 marks except B.Sc and Shastri (Hons). Besides the total number of questions for all section will be 150.
