Dr. B. R. Ambedkar University (DBRAU), Agra

University of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Formerly known as DBRA institution Agra or Agra University, Agra is a public institution run by the government. The UGC recognises Agra University, and the NAAC awards it a "B" grade for accreditation. The Medical Council of India (MCI), the Distance Education Bureau (DEB), the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), the Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU), and other organisations are connected to DBRA University Agra.

With 21 million students enrolled, Bhimrao Ambedkar University Agra was founded in 1927 and has over 200 associated colleges. Over its four residential campuses—Paliwal Park, Khandari, Civil Lines, and Chhaleshar—DBRA University Agra is home to roughly fifteen residential institutes. Currently, DBRAU serves the educational requirements of Agra and the seven districts that make up the Agra Division.
