UPSEE will conduct entrance exam for candidates who wish to apply for the following UG and PG programmes:
- B. Tech.
- B.Tech. (Biotechnology)
- B.Tech. (Agriculture Engg.)
- B.Arch.
- B.Pharm.
- BHMCT
- BFAD
- BFA
- MBA
- MCA &
- 2nd Year (Lateral Entry) of B. Tech/B.Pharm./MCA
UPSEE Application Form
The candidates can fill up the UPSEE application form only through On-Line mode by logging into their official website https://aktu.ac.in/. It is advisable that before filling and submitting the application form, the candidates must read their Information Brochure carefully and check their eligibility and applicable reservation category etc.
Along with the application form, the candidates are also required to upload the scanned images of his/her latest color photograph, left hand thumb impression and signature. Any application forms received having blurred photographs are liable to be rejected.
UPSEE Eligibility Criteria
The common eligibility criteria for all courses under UPSEE is that he/she should be the resident of Uttar Pradesh. Other eligibility criterion for UPSEE includes:
B.Tech./B.Pharm.: The candidates must score a minimum of 45% (40 % for SC/ST) aggregate marks in the required combination of subjects (two compulsory and one optional) in the intermediate examination of the U.P. Board or 10+2 examination or other equivalent examination conducted by a recognized board/university. They should also score 40% marks (35% for SC/ST) in each optional and compulsory subject.
BHMCT or BFAD: The candidates must score a minimum of 45% (40 % for SC/ST) aggregate marks in the intermediate examination of the U.P. Board or 10+2 examination or other equivalent examination conducted by a recognized board/university.
B.Arch.: The candidates must score a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in the intermediate examination of the U.P. Board or 10 plus 2 examination or other equivalent examination conducted by a recognized board/university. They should also score 40% marks (35% for SC/ST) in each optional and compulsory subject. Candidates who also have a three-year Diploma in Architecture (10 3) recognized by the central/state government with 50% aggregate marks are also eligible for admission to the first year B.Arch. only. Such candidates will have to appear in the entrance examination for the first year of the B.Arch. Paper.
B.Tech. (Agriculture Engineering): The eligibility criteria for B.Tech. (Agriculture Engineering) courses are same as that of B.Tech. Courses.
UPSEE Lateral Entry
The private institutions under UPTU offer admission to second year of B.Tech./B.Pharm courses through lateral entry. The details about lateral entry in UPTU are given below:
In the lateral entry, the vacant seats will be filled up within 15 days of counseling for the institute level.
After this, if there remains any vacant seats, than those will be filled up on the basis of merit by the candidates who have score a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (45 percent for SC/ST) in the qualifying exam.
The advertisement for lateral admission will be requested through newspaper advertisements. A week is allotted to the applicant to submit their application forms.
UPSEE Exam Pattern
The UPSEE will contain 12 question papers in all multiple questions with 4 marks each for every right answer. There is no negative marking for wrong answers and the language for the exam includes Hindi and English.
UPSEE will be conducted at various cities across India and candidates are advised to give three different choices of examination cities while filling application form.
