Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University

Rohilkhand University was founded in 1975 as an affiliated university with its headquarters in Bareilly to meet the growing need for higher education services in the Rohilkhand region. The university's status was elevated to affiliating-cum-residential university in 1984 when four teaching departments were created on campus. Three more departments were established in 1986.

In 1995, the University made significant strides by providing new professional degrees in Engineering & Technology, Management, Education & Allied Sciences, and other fields. Rohilkhand In August 1997, the institution was renamed Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand Institute in honor of the well-known nineteenth-century social reformer and thinker who pioneered women's education in India.

In 1986, three new departments were established. In 1995, the University made significant strides by providing new professional degrees in Engineering & Technology, Management, Education & Allied Sciences, and other areas. In August 1997, Rohilkhand University has renamed Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University in honor of the renowned nineteenth-century social reformer and thinker who pioneered women's education in India.

MJPRU Courses

The University offers over 30 undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctorate degrees. The university offers several courses, including BTech, MA, MSc, LLB, LLM, B.Ed, MEd, and others. Admission to the different degrees at Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University depends on either an entrance test or merit. The University also conducts an entrance test for admission to MSc, LLB, B.Ed, B.El.Ed, BPEd, MEd, and LLM programs.

The MJPRU entrance test is administered for postgraduate studies. Aside from that, for degrees like BPharm, BTech, MBA, MCA, and others, the college recognizes authentic JEE Main, CUET UG, and CUET PG entrance test results. Furthermore, admission to other undergraduate programs is solely dependent on the results on the preceding qualifying exam.

The average BTech salary was INR 50 LPA, INR 6.50 LPA for BPharma, and INR 13 LPA for MPharma. According to the NIRF's 2024 report, 27 LLM, 41 BPharma, and 6 MPharma students were enrolled in 2023.
