Rajiv Gandhi National Aviation University (RGNAU) is a Central University set up by an Act of Parliament viz. Rajiv Gandhi National Aviation University Act, 2013 and is under the Administrative control of the Ministry of Civil Aviation, Government of India.

Rajiv Gandhi National Aviation University (a Central University) is India's first National Aviation University established under Act of Parliament, 2013. The University campus is fully operational at Fursatganj Airfield under the direct administrative control of the Ministry of Civil Aviation, Government of India.

The university is intended to be the leading educational establishment in the aviation sector, offering innovative and important research to improve India's aviation sector.

Courses Offered

The university aims to promote aviation studies, research, and training in the field of aviation Industry. It provides an eighteen-month PG Diploma program in Airport Operations. In addition, the college provides executive diploma programs in executive development and executive management development.

Eligibility Criteria for Admission

For undergraduate programmes you need pass in Class 12. For post graduate programmes a minimum of bachelor’s degree. Evaluation & Grading System

RGPV grading scheme uses a credit-based methodology. It assesses students' grades according to the proportion of passing their tests. A student who scores between 91 and 100%, for example, is awarded a grade point of 10, which is the same as an A+. Both theoretical and practical exams use the same grading scheme.

Placement

There are roughly enough pupils placed from the college, and placements at the college are good. The least expensive bundle is 3 lakh annually. Indigo, Qatar, Air India, and AirAsia are among the top hiring firms. Each college student receives an internship for 6 months in GMR airports.
