University of Lucknow

The University of Lucknow is a public state institution founded in 1920. The University of Lucknow is accredited by the NAAC, BCI, and NCTE. The institution provides more than 100 undergraduate and graduate courses. Lucknow University comprises ten faculties: arts, unani, ayurveda, engineering and technology, commerce, education, yoga and alternative medicine, fine arts, science, and law. LU Lucknow Colleges are among the top colleges in Lucknow. In 2024, NIRF placed Lucknow University 23rd in the Law category, 32nd in the State Public University category, and 97th in the University category.

UGC, AICTE, ACU, AIU, and DEC approve Lucknow University. The university has 15+ institutes or centres and 45+ departments. In addition to this, as many as 550+ colleges have been affiliated with the University of Lucknow to impart top-notch education in Uttar Pradesh. Lucknow University offers two scholarships to students under Student Welfare Fund namely Chhatra Kalyan Scholarship and Karmyogi Scheme.

Admission Criteria in University of Lucknow

UG Courses: Based on class 12th marks and entrance tests.
