Education in the field of veterinary science can open many opportunities to students. With numerous colleges offering bachelor degree program in the field of Veterinary science students can pursue veterinary degree programs to diagnose and treat variety of animals and birds. After the successful completion of the courses, one can either practice independently or can apply for veterinarian jobs in government and private sectors.
Students who have passed 10+2 with Science can opt for Undergraduate Degree Programmes in veterinary sciences. Candidates were selected on the basis of All India Pre-Veterinary Test (AIPVT) conducted every year by Veterinary Council of India. Now the test is replaced by NEET-UG conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA).
